My husband was in the Normandy Invasion. My brother found 4 volumes of the VFW Pictorial History of The second world war. He has no idea where they came from, and they are well over 50 years old, would they be worth anything? Just curious!!

EACH BOOK IS WORTH ABOUT 15$ MANY WERE PUBLISHED. THE HISTORIC VALUE IS MORE IMPORTANT

The set actually contains 10 volumes. I have 9 of them, I am missing number 8. Mine is a mixed set. Publishing dates from 1947-1952. Some 1st editions some later editions.
